Philadelphia Lieder Society -- Volunteer and Membership

Membership in the Philadelphia Lieder Society

Membership in the Philadelphia Lieder Society is open to anyone who wishes to help the Society realize its mission and vision through the financial support of a membership level gift or by contributing time or expertise. In keeping with the Society's desire to create a convivial setting for music-making, the members of the Society invite all the performers to join them for a celebration following each performance. The post- performance party is only open to audience members who are members of the Society.

Volunteer Opportunities

Additional volunteer opportunities are currently available for the January 13, 2012 "Liederabend - An Evening of Art Songs for Voice and Piano" at the German Society of Pennsylvania. All volunteers receive a complimentary ticket to the performance and admission to the post - performance celebration with the artists (open bar and refreshments). The following volunteer positions are currently open:

special event photographer
ushers
box office staff (sales and will-call)
parking lot attendant
membership sales
set-up/crew

Individual Membership - $35
(Reduced rate for individuals 39 years of age or younger - $25)

invitation to the post-performance party with the performers (open bar and refreshments)
voting privileges for Philadelphia Lieder Society's "Members Prize" ($500) for best performance of the evening
listing in the program book

Dual Patron-Level Membership - $95
(Reduced rate for individuals 39 years of age or younger - $65)

all benefits of individual membership (see above) for two individuals, plus:
one, free, reserved parking space in the fenced lot immediately adjacent to the performance venue, the German Society of Pennsylvania (611 Spring Garden Street, Philadelphia, PA)
opportunity to "bring-a-friend" to the post-performance celebration *
